When you say "pajamas," I say "North By Northwest," because this makes me think of the time our niece Jen was a tiny tot, and my husband Vinnie and I were babysitting her while Alfred Hitchcock's NORTH BY NORTHWEST was on TV. The sexy scene with Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint on the 20th Century Limited began, and we realized the upcoming romantic scene might be a little too sexy for a toddler like Jen. But Jen was ready for us; she chirped, "It's okay, they'll both have their pajamas on!" :-D

ReplyDeleteYo recuerdo Juego de Pijamas, con Doris Day, creo recordar que fue la primera película musical que vi, y desde ese momento quedé enganchada, y eso que es una del montón.
"The Pink Panther" when Peter Sellers keeps jumping out of bed to get Cappucine her pills, and a glass of warm milk... etc. What a rube!

ReplyDeleteParty. OK, it was PAJAMA PARTY (no "s" on "pajama"). But it's a un BEACH PARTY movie and featuring Annette singing "Stuffed Animals Never Kiss Back."

At a department store on the French Riviera, American millionaire Coop is shopping for pajamas. Although the salesman attempts to sell cologne, neckwear, and other items to him, the man is in the market for only pajamas...and not just any pajamas...rather, he wants only the top, because, as he tells the clerk, he doesn't use---or need---the pants. Since the salesclerk will not sell him only the top, a woman customer (Claudette Colbert) steps in and offers to buy the trousers, as she doesn't want---or need---the top.
