In just three days, the master of suspense will be invoked from wherever he is by a crowd of worshipers via their blogs. This event is organized by the Classic Movie Blog Association and already has 20 participants. I'll be reviewing underrated Torn Curtain starring Paul Newman & Julie Andrews; you can see the rest of the registered blogs and films in this official list:

Caroline: Oh, that's great incentive to write my review :) Thanks for stopping by, I'm looking forward to read your post too :)
ReplyDeletePage: that's *swell*!! I thought that nobody would review "Marnie", it's very underrated too, I liked it. Oh, I added you to the list above :) Have a gret weekend you too!
You're such a sweetheart Clara! : ) It was nice of Rick to add me to the list this late. It's going to be a fun Monday..celebrating a great Hollywood icon and some of his work. As far as Marnie I love it too.
ReplyDeleteRebecca is my hands down favorite film and I've seen a lot of Hitchcocks other films but Marnie wasn't on the list so I'll give it a try. Sean Connery was beyond handsome in it too!

Oh I went back and forth between Suspicion and Marnie and if I had the time I would have done both! But you are correct in that Marnie was underrated...the build up leaves you guessing as to why she's so damaged.
