I'm happy because 21 people thought that my blog was worth following. So, in return, I'm going to give you one of my most accomplished fonts. Just like we did with Ingrid Bergman's handwriting font, I'm gonna ask a question and you, my dear reader, will give me a name. When I read the right one, I'm gonna upload the prize. Easy!
This time I'm not going to show you the handwriting, because it's too easy to guess the writer. Instead I'm going to tell you an anecdote in 3 lines (***):
An ancient ax was found in the place in which Alec Guinness and the star you have to guess were filming. For the next 20 years or so, these crazy people sent the ax to each other, in the most unexpected moments. One could enter his/her hotel room and find it on the bed, and hell knows how it got there.
Do you know the name? Leave a comment.

*** This is so embarrassing, I told the story all wrong!!! I was sure it was David Niven the other character in the story.
I'm going to guess Deborah Kerr for no better reason than that I remember the two of them filming an outdoor scene together, and she had a great sense of humor. But whatever the answer, it's a great story!
ReplyDeleteHi MM, I'm sooooo sorry, I told the story wrong. It wasn't David Niven, it was Alec Guinness. Maybe now you can give me the right answer. Gosh, I hate myself :)
ReplyDeleteThis seems like something Laurence Olivier would do, but I don't think they did a movie together. I have no idea!
ReplyDeleteHey, maybe it was David Niven and Alec Guinness! Although in my dreams, it will always be Deborah Kerr.
