hola Clara, gracias por seguir mi nuevo blog, espero que te mejores y awww qué bonito tu post, sobre todo por I Remember Mama :)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear you've not been well but glad that you're feeling a bit better now :)
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, when Irene sneaks into the hospital to see her sick kid! She has to be one of the best film Mum's ever <3 My mind is going blank for film scenes with sick people. The only ones I can think of are the ones where people actually die!
Oh no, feel better! Not getting enough sleep has always certainly made me feel sick as well :/
ReplyDeleteAnother movie where someone gets sick is Jennifer Jones in "Since You Went Away" when she gets the mumps and recovers. Also there is Maureen O'Sullivan in "Pride and Prejudice" who catches a cold after riding her horse in the rain to the Bingley's house (but she also did that on purpose haha)
Feel better soon, Clara!
ReplyDeleteI can't really think of any sick people in classic film at the moment--I guess I'm drawing a blank.
Feel better, little one.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you feel better soon! Jack Lemmon always makes me laugh. The Apartment is one of the first classic films that I watched and I love it!
ReplyDeleteDe nada, Rena! Sólo que no avisas que tienes blog nuevo, te encontré de casualidad!! Gracias por tu comentario, y sí, "I remember Mama" tenía que estar en la lista! Saludos, espero verte por aquí!
ReplyDeleteI'm recovered (almost), thanks for your comment, Sophie :) I KNOW, that part in "I remember mama" is so heartbreaking, well, the whole movie is! LOL, yes, I had a bit of trouble remembering scenes with sick-not-dying people too! Thanks for stopping by, girl!
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks Jessica, I'm almost recovered by now. Yeah, I stayed up late near a window watching the auction on the computer and down here is freezing (is chilly in Chile you could say), so obviously I caught a cold. Oh, you're right, I totally forgot about that scene in "Since you went away"! And yeah, Maureen (I don't remember the name of Austen's character) was totally trying to get sick in "Pride and Prejudice", LOL :) Thanks for the feedback, Jessica!
ReplyDeleteThank you Audrey :) I'm feeling well by now. And yeah, seems that most of us had trouble remembering sick people in classic films, LOL. Thanks for the feedback, girl :)
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks Marsha! I'm OK by now :) Thank you for taking time to leave a comment ^^
