In this page I'll add the classic stars' handwriting fonts (.ttf) I've released. They work in any software that loads fonts (Microsoft Office, Pages, Adobe Photoshop, etc). You can use them to bring the Classic Stars touch to your digital work, always respecting the...

terms of use
I don't want to sound annoying and serious, but please give these files a proper use and respect my work. That means, obviously, that you may not:

• Sell or commercialize these fonts in any platform or claim them as your own.
• Re-distribute these fonts.
• Use them for any harmful, pornographic, or racial material or material that may be deemed harmful or offensive to another person (dead or alive).

Please notice that these fonts were made years ago, so they can behave differently on newer operator systems.

Click the banners below and you will be redirected to a Dropbox folder, containing:

• the ttf. file (aka the font); 
• the 'poster' of the font; 
• the terms of use 
• a picture sample with the comparison of the font being used in Microsoft Word and an original handwritten document

You can download all the files to the location you prefer or just the font.

Please notice that handwriting may change depending if the writer is in a rush, is older, or whatever; what I did was to pick the characters shapes the stars used most of the time.

instructions
After downloading the ".ttf" file in the location of your preference, depending on your system:

Windows 7 and 8 

Double-click your font file

Click the Install button

Windows (Vista, XP, 2000, Me, 98, 95)

Open "Control Panel" (under Start->Settings)

Double-click "Fonts" category

Select "Install New Font..." from File menu

Browse to the location you placed the font file

Click the Ok button

Macintosh instructions (Mac OS X)

Locate your font file in the Finder

Double-click the font file icon

Font Book should display the font

Click the Install button

Note: In order to make use of the newly installed font, some applications require you to reboot your Mac or reopen them.

Linux instructions

Find out the default font installation directory (usually /usr/share/fonts/truetype/)

Copy the font file to that directory

Rebuild the font folder index

Update the font cache (e.g. fc-cache)
