A cold & The Italian Job

Caugth a really bad cold so I spent the day in bed. This afternoon —after watching some "I love Lucy" episodes —  I saw "The Italian Job" on TCM with my parents. It was good but not great. Michael Caine's performance is solid as always, and the car chasing scenes are entertaining. Minis kind of rocked, and the robbery plan was very clever. Loved the ending. It's just the action comes after a looong introduction. Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking for action from the very first second like in "Quantum of Solace" (bad movie) or "Mission Impossible 3" (liked it), but it wasn't an interesting first half. I recently saw "The Lavender Hill Mob" —has the same bank robbery topic— and it rocked all the way (I'm gonna talk about it in other occasion). That movie was interesting from the beginning. Or maybe it's just I don't find funny Benny Hill's lascivious jokes :)

Anyway, we had a nice stove plus delicious crullers (and even some pop corn!) —yeah, it's winter autumn over here— so it was a good evening.
