Clara, I admit that "bookie" immediately leapt to my mind because of my latest blog post about the 1941 bookmaker/gamblers vs. Nazis/Fifth Columnist comedy-thriller ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT. :-) Otherwise, my novel-in-progress THE PARANOIA CLUB would have come into my head first. Yeah, I know -- me, me, me, it's always about me! I'm so ashamed! :-) But seriously, your word games are always fun!

    Book me recuerda a una serie de libros escritos por Terence Moix, se llama Mis Inmortales del Cine, y es una recopilación, siempre según el autor, de los mejores actores y actrices entre las décadas de los 30 hasta los 70. El origen de estos libros, fue uno pequeñito que se llamaba Hollywood Stories, que contaba una serie de anécdotas de la época de oro del cine norteamericano.

  10. Isn't there a scene in *Leave Her to Heaven* where Gene Tierney reads a book? I haven't seen that film (yet) but I have seen images of her reading from that film.
