  2. Audrey Hepburn smashing a guitar over a random person's head in Roman Holiday! I'm actually sitting here with my guitar, and yet the first thing I think of is not some great perfomance that involves a guitar, but rather the utter destruction of one. I'm sad, just sad.

BTW, I adore this series already and really hope you keep doing these for a long time!

  4. Christopher Plummer as Captain von Trapp in 'The Sound of Music' strumming the guitar and singing 'Edelweiss'. : )

  5. Hayley Mills awkwardly playing the guitar while singing "Lets Get Together" in the "Parent Trap" lol

  6. I thought of A Face in the Crowd, the scene at the baton twirling contest where Andy Griffith picks the best girl -- they played this song called Mama Guitar throughout the contest.

  7. Thanks everyone! I thought that this one would be more obvious (I imagined Julie Andrews singing in the hills with the kids; and then Gilda singing "Put the Blame on Mame").
Good thoughts people! I have to check "Johny Guitar" (I just saw the ending on TCM) and "A face in the crowd" :)
