Day 17- Favorite line from a film

I'm gonna be very predictable....

RHETT BUTLER: Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.

...and not so. This quote is from "The man who came to dinner":

NURSE PREEN: I am not only walking out on this case, Mr. Whiteside, I am leaving the nursing profession. I became a nurse because all my life, ever since I was a little girl, I was filled with the idea of serving a suffering humanity. After one month with you , Mr. Whiteside, I am going to work in a munitions factory. From now on , anything I can do to help exterminate the human race will fill me with the greatest of pleasure. If Florence Nightingale had ever nursed YOU, Mr. Whiteside, she would have married Jack the Ripper instead of founding the Red Cross!

LOL!!
I also remember this speech by Clara Varner (played by Joanne Woodward) in "The long hot summer" (the video should start in 03.16):

CLARA VARNER: Mr. Quick, I am a human being. Do you know what that means? It means I set a price on myself, a high, high price. You may be surprised to know it...but I've got quite a lot to give. I've got things I have been savin' up my whole life...things like love and understanding and...and jokes and good times and good cooking.I'm prepared to be the queen of Sheba for some lucky man...or at the very least, the best wife that any man could hope for. Now, that's my human history...and it's not gonna be bought and sold...and it's certainly not gonna be given away to any passin' stranger.
