Day 14- A legend everyone appreciates, but you can’t personally stand

Obviously Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn, Ginger Rogers, Irene Dunne and Gary Cooper. I mean what's wrong with these guys!?
Just kidding.

Now I'm serious  : |
I CAN'T stand Stewart Granger (I don't know if he's a legend or if everyone appreciates him, but I couldn't think of anyone else). If I had to illustrate a new dictionary, I'd put his picture in "boring" or "dull". The only reason why I haven't seen "Scaramouche" and "The prisoner of Zenda" is because he's on them. And "The King's Solomon's Mines" is not between my favorites because he's on it. I mean, his acting is like "hey ya chick, I'm the lover in this movie...love me!".

Love me?

Love me.

Love me...

Love me!!

So, uhm, if you are a fan of Stewart Granger please recommend me some of his films in which I can really appreciate his acting skills.
I just want to add that these kind of questions get me carried away  —like Day 13— but the negative questions from the Old Hollywood Meme are ending.  So just hold on tight :)

  1. I know what you mean. I am only able to tolerate him in "The Little Hut."

I feel the same way about Laraine Day.

  2. Thanks for commenting annonymous :) I'm gonna check the first movie. I think I've never seen Laraine on anything, so I couldn't tell.
